Main Line Animal Rescue works continuously to provide a comfortable life for the companion animals in our care until we can find them permanent homes. We receive no federal or state funding for our programs. Without the help and generosity of wonderful caring people this is not possible; your contribution makes the difference in how well and how many animals we can care for. With your tax-deductible donation, MLAR can continue in our mission to rescue and place unwanted, abused and abandoned companion animals and to help be a voice for them in raising the public's awareness of their needs.

For The Kibble Center Main Line Rescue's food bank. We need your help to provide quality food at wholesale prices for the over one hundred and fifty animals presently in our care.
For Advocacy Main Line Animal Rescue believes all animals deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. We ask that you take time to learn more about just a few of the very important issues affecting the welfare of our animals. Then please get involved.
General Hospital A contribution to this fund will cover the costs of spaying and neutering each animal we place. Also examinations, vaccination, heart worm testing (and ongoing treatment for dogs currently in our care), microchipping, and feline AIDS and Leukemia testing.
Our Miracle Fund Go that extra mile for the pets with special needs, with serious but treatable illnesses and disabilities. Procedures include eye surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, allergy testing and treatment, including prescription diets, Lyme and heartowrm Disease treatments, and more. Animals in our care are treated to the same excellent veterinary care every animal deserves. We strongly encourage people to consider adopting a special needs or senior animal from a shelter.
Dollars For Collars Your dollars will help us with operating expenses used in adoptions; leashes and collars, ID tags, grooming, crates.
Raising The Woof Capital Campaign Your gift will help support our commitment to make the world a better place for the animals in our care, including an endowment fund that will continue to provide funds necessary for medical care. As our fund-raising for our new kennel has come to completion we are moving forward in raising money to build a spay/neuter clinic on our property. This clinic will save us tens of thousands of dollars each year as well as give us an isolation area for incoming animals so they will receive all veterinary treatment prior to entering the shelter and being made available for adoption. Contributions can be made to MLAR in remembrance of a loved one (human or animal). The family of the deceased will receive notification of your generous gift.

When dogs come to us they are sometimes matted and dirty. Often we need to shave them down in order to inspect for fleas, wounds and skin irritations. This can destroy a grooming blade so we go through a lot of them! If you would like to help us purchase these and other supplies for our kennel they can be found in the many pet catalogs.
